TYSON FURY’S nutritionist has revealed how he got the Gypsy King in tip-top shape for Saturday night’s clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury, 35, looked overweight when he fought to a split decision victory over Francis Ngannou in October.
But this week he looked like a changed man as he looked ahead to the undisputed heavyweight title.
And nutritionist Greg Marriott has now confirmed that work to get Fury into the best possible condition began SIX MONTHS ago.
He also predicted the WBC champion will come in at around 18 pounds, 10 pounds.
That would be almost 16 pounds lighter than the fight with Ngannou and the lightest since he fought Otto Wallin in September 2019.
Talking about Celestial sportsMarriott said: “I said ‘We need to get some fat off you’. So we went to Jeddah in November, did a fat loss camp for six weeks and then started some serious training.
“He himself will tell you that he will never have a beautiful body, it’s not about that.
“The body composition that’s changed with him is still 40 pounds and 10 – I think people think he’ll be 17’13 – never.
“He comes to my room every night and says ‘Greg, I haven’t felt this way since Wilder 2.’

“I told him ‘I’m really happy for you, but it’s also sad because we may never see this Tyson Fury again.’
“What that means is: watch what he does to Usyk. It’ll be like man against boy, I promise. He’s a serious Tyson Fury right now. A serious Tyson Fury.”
Fury and Usyk, 37, will weigh in on Friday, 24 hours before the blockbuster showdown.
On Thursday, the Brit refused to look at Usyk as the pair squared off after their latest press conference.
