MIKE TYSON’S thrilling fight against Jake Paul was briefly in jeopardy after the American idol suffered a medical emergency on his flight.
After months of speculation, the boxing legend will face The Problem Child in one of the summer’s main events.
Paul has won his last three fights since losing to former Love Islander Tommy Fury.
And there has been a mix of excitement and caution surrounding this Tyson fight, as the American legend has not stepped into the ring since his exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr in 2020.
But now, there’s more cause for concern following Iron Mike’s medical emergency scare.
What medical emergency did Mike Tyson suffer?
Mike Tyson is believed to have become nauseous and dizzy on board a flight from Miami to Los Angeles because of an ulcer outbreak.
Paramedics rushed to the plane to provide medical assistance to Tyson as an announcement calling for a doctor was made on the plane, according to an eyewitness.
A member of Tyson’s team provided an update revealing that he was “doing great.”
They told the New York Post Office: “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer that developed 30 minutes before landing.
“He is grateful to the medical team who were there to help him.”
