A FORMER world boxing champion has offered to replace Mike Tyson and fight Jake Paul.
This comes after Tyson suffered a medical emergency this week on his plane from Miami to Los Angeles.
The incident caused paramedics to rush to the plane as soon as it landed.
But Tyson walked off the plane without assistance and without looking too worn out.
He became dizzy and nauseous during the flight due to a bout of stomach ulcer.
The medical emergency caused immediate concerns that Paul vs. Tyson would be off, especially given the thirty-year age difference between Paul, 27, and Tyson, 57.
But a defiant Iron Mike posted on X on Tuesday that he was: “Now I feel 100%, although I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”
Paul himself reacted angrily to rumors that the fights would be canceled on social media.
He turned to X to address rumors that the July 20 fight would be canceled and said: “You love making shit up before you know the facts about clicks/likes. Nothing has changed #PaulTyson”
But now a surprise contender has thrown his hat into the ring should Tyson prove too ill to fight.

Sakio Bika was a former IBO super middleweight champion and held the belt from 2008 to 2010.
Bika, 45 years old, hasn’t fought since 2021 and this after four years away.
But he said, “If Jake Paul is serious about fighting a former champion, look for someone much younger or active in the last decade. I can fight Jake Paul at any weight he wants.”
Despite his former champion status, he hardly has Tyson’s influence.
His most famous match saw him lose a unanimous decision to Joe Calzaghe in 2006.
Born in Douala, Cameroon, Bika has been fighting as an Australian citizen since 2000.
He has a record of 22-7-3.
