ADRIEN Broner doesn’t want to be a fool on his return to boxing – despite being ridiculed by a puppet.

The 34-year-old – known as The Problem – has fought just three times since losing on points to future Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas in 2019.

Broner been in hotter trouble than world-class battles in the ring.

There were misdemeanor assault charges in Las Vegas, frightening social media posts insinuating suicide, violent altercations with fans and skipping court hearings.

He told The US Sun ahead of his return in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday against Philadelphia’s Blair “The Flair” Cobbs that his bad boy days are over.

But Cobbs, desperate to latch on to the four-weight world champion’s short fuse, creatively provoked him by creating a Sesame Street-like muppet version of the Ohio wrestler – resplendent in sunglasses and a personalized neck chain.

That may have made legendary promoter Don King laugh, but Broner wasn’t laughing.

“There was some antics, and that’s cool,” he told The US Sun.

“But on June 7th we will have a fight. That comes with the game, I’m just focused on getting the win. legacy.

“I’m focused and here to perform.”

Broner called his opponent a “circus clown” during the press conference earlier this month.

The awkward Cobbs was trying to really get under Broner’s skin – and thanked his kids for inspiring his comical attempt to gain a crucial psychological advantage before the all-important showdown at the Hard Rock Guitar hotel on Friday.

Fans were left sick after Tyson Fury’s teammate Joseph Parker shared a video of him eating a RAW FISH

Cobbs, inspired by wrestling legend Ric Flair, continued barking and taunting Broner, while pretending to let his puppet talk all the trash.

“This was a mix I created,” he admitted to The US Sun.

“There were doubts whether Broner would show up, so we made sure by creating my own trash can man, Adrien Broner. AB? About bitches? He lost the A, so he’s just a bitch.”

Former Gold promoter King, 92, who was involved in Muhammad Ali’s legendary Rumble in the Jungle with George Foreman and stood alongside Mike Tyson as the self-proclaimed baddest man on the planet wreaked havoc, has seen it all.

Witnessing a fighter mocking an opponent who is a fully functioning dummy is probably a first.

I want to stay active after this. It’s good to be involved again and have someone like Don King also be part of my own legacy.

“I woke up one morning and felt like it was time to do something different,” continued the super-energetic Cobbs, who boasts a record of 16 wins out of 18, albeit against modest opposition.

“I don’t know how to rap, I’ve come out in fur coats, Blair the Flair is the most exciting man in boxing and every time I step into the ring I want to do something different.

“I was watching Sesame Street with my kids and I thought ‘these characters are interesting, I need to do a Broner character. It’s Elmo’s boyfriend.”

Cobbs was desperate to mock Broner and talked to the puppet makers at every step to ensure the final product was exactly what he wanted.

“I needed to make sure your belly was showing, that your teeth were nice and big,” he laughed.

“Will it affect him? I don’t know, but when he gets in the ring, he will feel the pressure and the pain. There will be a lot going on in his mind – that I’m too fast, too strong and too unpredictable. He’s too smart. Eventually , he will realize that I am very good.

“That’s what I do – I entertain. I can give him the doll when I’m done. It’s very scary for my kids.”
