DEONTAY WILDER’S fiancée Telli Swift has reportedly been granted a temporary restraining order against the former heavyweight champion.
This is according to a new report from TMZ amid allegations that the 38-year-old, who has yet to comment publicly after being approached, abused her multiple times over the past six years.
Swift, who began dating the American boxer in 2015, was granted the restraining order on Monday after requesting it late last week in Los Angeles.
The order, which came just two days after he was brutally knocked out by Chinese boxer Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia, requires Wilder to remain at least 100 meters away from Swift and her daughter until both parties appear in court in June 25th.
Swift, 37, accused the man known as the ‘Bronze Bomber’ of choking her “at least five times” since the beginning of 2018.
The allegations also state that he spat on her multiple times and that he “nearly suffocated” her by pushing a pillow in her face for an extended period.
Swift also alleged that in mid-April, without consent, Wilder gained access to her laptop and sent disturbing messages to her personal and professional contacts.
Wilder also allegedly constantly ridiculed Swift and threatened her, as well as expecting her to have sex with him “three times a day.”
She says she was kicked out of the family’s Atlanta home on April 15, even though she was recovering from her recent invasive surgery and has since lived at her Los Angeles-area property.
Swift, who got engaged to Wilder six years ago, took her six-year-old daughter with her.
However, she claims that Wilder spied on them through the home’s surveillance system and added that she was afraid he would be violent towards her again when he returned to the Los Angeles estate after Zhang’s defeat.
She said: “I believe Deontay is capable of being physically violent with me upon his return in June because he has expressed that he has been furious with me since April and has physically abused me in the past.”
The couple previously appeared on the reality show WAGS Atlanta.
Wilder, who lost his WBC title holder status after an epic trilogy with Tyson Fury, has eight children – three boys and five girls.
This includes Kaorii Lee Wilder, who he shares with Swift, and the four he shares with ex-wife Jessica Scales.
Wilder’s 2020 rematch with Fury was the first defeat of his career, having drawn his first fight with the Gypsy King.
He suffered a knockout in the 2021 trilogy before embarking on an extended period of inactivity.
But he returned to brutally knock out Robert Helenius before losing to Joseph Parker in December and then to Zhang, which was his fourth defeat in his last five fights.
