TOMMY FURY has revealed that he thinks rival Jake Paul’s next fight against “legend” Mike Tyson is “not safe” and “stupid”.

Fury, Tyson Fury’s younger brother and former Love Island star, is currently 10-0 as an undefeated boxer.

Paul suffered the only defeat of his career to Fury in February 2023, despite knocking the Brit down in the final round.

Since then, the two have had an ongoing rivalry, with Jake constantly asking for a rematch against the only man who defeated him.

However, his next fight will be against boxing legend Tyson, who Fury spoke exclusively to SunSport about.

He said: “It’s a 60-year-old man against a 27-year-old, it’s stupid. I’m not interested in this fight at all.

“The man is a legend, he should be left alone. In the end it’s not safe, is it?

“[The] man is 60 years old, you are not what you were.”

Fury’s claims that the fight is “not safe” have some credibility, as the fight was recently postponed and rescheduled following a health scare for Tyson on board a flight.

The scare was revealed to be an ulcer outbreak, with a renowned doctor recommending that he postpone the fight and rest for four to five weeks to recover properly.

However, Iron Mike himself claims to be in the best shape since the 1990s and insisted after the incident that he was 100 percent ready to face Paul.

Tyson vs Paul has been rescheduled for November 15th and will take place in Texas.
