THIS is the moment Britain’s ‘bravest bouncers’ escorted heavyweight Tyson Fury out of a pub – before the boxer collapsed outside.

The British former world champion – who lost the title to Oleksandr Usyk last month – was led away by two bouncers on Friday night after drinking too much at the Nowhere bar in Morecambe, Lancs.

Footage showed the legendary boxer getting down on one knee before hitting his head on a post outside.

Tyson, 35, who is worth around £300million from his hugely successful boxing career, partied with friends and fans at the venue, which offers drinks for just £2.50 until 11pm.

But his night came to an end when the team decided he was too drunk, so the team gently persuaded the Gypsy King to return to his £1.7 million mansion, which he shares with his wife Paris and their seven children.

The man is a legend, a multimillionaire and yet he is just like you or me. Go to the bar like you, maybe get drunk like you too. I understand he’s a public figure, but he’s only human

A source close to Fury said the fighter hadn’t had a drink for over a year, adding: “He had too much to drink and wasn’t feeling very well either.”

Some fight fans joked that Fury still looked shaken from his ninth-round knockout in his split decision loss to Ukrainian Uysk, after a video of Fury being walked was posted on social media.

Phil Stansfield said: “I can’t tell if he’s upset or still feeling the effects of Usyk.”

Ady Leach added: “Usyk should give him another left hook in the bathroom.”

Louise Chaisty praised the doorman for his bravery, joking: “That doorman was absolutely terrified.”

Other Fury fans sympathized with the boxer for taking advantage of his downtime before fighting Usyk again later this year.

Bryan Long wrote: “Glad to see him getting upset and having fun.

“Something that some people do regularly is about Tyson.”

Amy Greene added: “He was very polite, no fuss or drama x.”

And Mark Rothwell said: “He did what we all did, at some point he got crushed. He didn’t kick off, he was helped.

Another video taken by a driver while waiting to pick up his son showed Fury crawling on his hands and knees outside the bar with his head on the sidewalk.

The woman said: “I heard a lot of screaming and commotion and then I saw Tyson crawling on his knees in the street. He looked bad. I hope it was just a one-time hit for him.”

‘LEGEND’

Earlier, Fury had a few drinks while chatting to fans at the Strawberry Gardens pub in Morecambe.

DJ Scott Shearing defended Fury and told how he happily posed for photos with dozens of fans and even gave £20 to a young woman.

Posting a photo of Fury online, he added: “I’m sure you all saw the video of Tyson Fury being escorted out of Nowhere on FB. Lots of people with a lot to say.

“The man is a legend, a multimillionaire and yet he is just like you or me. He goes out shopping, just like you.

He had friends from America and they couldn’t believe how down-to-earth and friendly he was. Win or lose the guys are a legend in my eyes

“Go to the pub like you, maybe get drunk like you too. I understand he is a public figure, but he is only human.

“I take my hat off to him, because wherever he goes people ask him for photos when he is out like everyone else to relax and unwind, he always obliges.

“He was at Strawbs Sex for a few hours and everyone was singing and being alone.

“A lot of people asked to take a photo with him. He took the time to do this, in fact a young lady I know had a photo of her with him and he gave her £20.

“Man has a heart and feelings, for God’s sake. In boxing he is a legend regardless of his last fight however he is proud to live in Morecambe and always mentions us.

TYSON FURY is one of the greatest characters in sport.

“Money and fame can bring their own problems when the temptation of excess of anything is present and available, be it buying fancy cars, houses or going out drinking, it must be difficult to deal with mentally.

“Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t refuse, but your every move is in the spotlight.

“He has his own demons with mental health and everything that comes with that, but let’s show the man some respect for his achievements and love for Morecambe.

“We should have a statue at prom celebrating him, not putting him down at every opportunity!!!”

Sarah Middleton, whose daughter Jess was the lucky recipient of the Fury money, added: “I couldn’t agree more! He was lovely to Jess on Friday… he kissed her on the head, punched her and gave her £20”.

Ian Marshall, who also knew Fury, added: “He had friends from America and they couldn’t believe how down-to-earth and friendly he was. Win or lose guys are a legend in my eyes.”

Fury promoter Frank Warren has been contacted for comment.

Fury will face Usyk again on December 21.
