CHRIS BILLAM-SMITH is back in a big stadium fight this weekend as he takes on Richard Riakporhe in a huge all-British world title fight.
‘The Gentleman’ won the WBO cruiserweight title last summer when he defeated former teammate Lawrence Okolie at his beloved AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.
Now he is heading away from home as he defends his title against Crystal Palace fans Riakporhe at Selhurst Park.
Riakporhe already beat Billam-Smith on points, in 2019, at the O2 Arena, on the undercard of Dillian Whyte.
The first fight was even, but Riakporhe scored a crucial knockdown to secure the victory.
Five years later, Billam-Smith is world champion, while Riakporhe is fighting to get the opportunity he so desperately wants.
