FORMER NFL star Le’Veon Bell sent a message to Mike Tyson after his fight was postponed.
Tyson’s long-awaited fight against Jake Paul has been postponed after a medical episode.
Bell was a former star for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets.
In his eight-year career, Bell rushed for 6,554 yards and had 3,289 receiving yards.
He scored 51 total touchdowns in his career.
Bell was a star the first five years of his career with the Steelers, but sat out the 2018 season due to a contract dispute.
He was never the same player after that year and played for four different teams from 2019 to 2021.
Bell retired from football after the 2021 season.
Upon retiring, Bell turned to boxing, where he competed in three professional fights.
He boxed professionally for the first time in 2022, where he lost to Uriah Hall via unanimous decision.
However, Bell won his next two fights, most recently defeating Tristan Hamm by unanimous decision last month.
Coming off his recent success, Bell might be feeling a little cocky about his boxing prowess as he contacted Mike Tyson about his boxing match.
Bell posted a three-word message, perhaps as a challenge to the legendary boxer.
“SPAR ME MIKE,” he wrote on X.
Fans were surprised by the call-up and shared their reactions in their comments.
“Oh shit,” said one fan.
“Yeah this shit is tired of the ATP,” said another fan.
“No. No money on you,” said a third fan.
“Why does everyone wait until he’s on the bad side of this?” a fourth fan said.
Bell is currently ranked as the #1 bridgeweight fighter in Misfits boxing.
The championship belt is vacant.
