Jake Paul’s next fight announced for July 20th as fans call for major rules change after Mike Tyson replacement revealed

JAKE PAUL will return to the boxing ring BEFORE he fights Mike Tyson.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was set to face heavyweight boxing legend Tyson on July 20 in Texas.

But the controversial clash – scrutinized over their 30-year age gap – was postponed after Iron Mike suffered a bout of ulcers during a flight.

Paul and his most valuable promotions – who struck a historic deal with Netflix to stream the fight – have released replacements.

Former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and former UFC star Mike Perry were among the nominees.

But Netflix demanded that the forever fight with Tyson be postponed and a rescheduled date for November 15 was announced.

In the meantime, Paul, 27, was looking to secure a fight to keep busy and was desperate to keep his July 20 commitment.

And he did just that after announcing an eight-round cruiserweight clash with former MMA fighter Perry.

In fact, they fell out in 2021, with Perry calling for a fight with Paul ever since.

The outspoken American left the UFC in 2021 with a 14-8 MMA record to sign with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

Since then, he has become the face of BKFC with five consecutive victories, but has stepped into the boxing ring for only the second time.

Perry lost his boxing debut in 2015 and some fans begged Paul to fight bare-knuckle.

One of them said, “Please tell me this is a problem.”

Another added: “I wish it was bare knuckles.”

Paul is 9-1 as a boxer, with his only loss coming against Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy, 25, in his celebrity fight in February 2023.

He said, “When Paul vs. Tyson was rescheduled, I knew immediately I still wanted to fight on Saturday, July 20th.

“Now, as I prepare for the fight against Iron Mike, there is no better opponent for me than Mike Perry.
