TYSON FURY showed off his impressive form in the gym as he continues to hone his training for the Oleksandr Usyk rematch.

The 35-year-old Gypsy King suffered a split decision defeat to the Ukrainian in Saudi Arabia last month.

Two weeks ago, Fury was spotted being escorted out of a pub before collapsing on the floor outside.

But just a few days later he was back training and looking forward to the announced date for his rematch with Usyk – December 21st.

And he’s keeping that job in Lancaster as a photo of him appeared on Instagram on Tuesday in the gym at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.

Strength and conditioning coach Kristian Blacklock shared the photo on social media – which showed Fury making a face while lifting weights.

Next to the image was captioned: “Back to work with @tysonfury .”

Fury will be the underdog heading into the Usyk rematch after being eliminated for much of their first fight.

He was also shaken, bruised and counted out by the referee in the ninth round after the ropes kept him standing following a barrage of punches from the former undisputed cruiserweight champion.

Even so, Fury recently stated that the main problem he had with the fight was that it was “too easy”.

Fury, who led the fight after six rounds on various fan scorecards before Usyk came on strong in the final stretch, told Furocity: “I thought I hit his head most of the rounds.

“He landed a good punch in the eighth round, which broke my nose. In the ninth round he shot 10-8, and I gave him the tenth round.

Tyson Fury reveals the ‘problem’ that made him lose to Oleksandr Usyk in a fight that was ‘much easier than I thought’

“Other than that, I didn’t give him any other rounds, I gave him rounds eight, nine and ten.

“But the ninth round is classified as two, so I gave him four rounds of fighting. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be, a lot easier.

“People said he was a difficult man to hit, but I attacked him with three- and four-punch combinations and laughed at him.

“My problem with that fight was that it was probably too easy.

“Sometimes it was really easy, it was like I was there with a local amateur boxer and I was really enjoying it and joking around.

“And for that I paid the ultimate price in the ninth round, when I had too much fun and got hit.

“I was always told ‘never mix work with play’ and I always gave it my middle finger – but now it’s come back to bite me. I still enjoyed it, I thought, it was okay.”
