The long-awaited return of ANTHONY JOHSUA’s ring will be announced this week.
AJ hasn’t set foot in the ring since his two-round demolition of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in March.
A late September return is expected for the former two-time unified champion, who is on track for a domestic contest with Daniel Dubois.
And promoter Eddie Hearn suggested AJ’s identity next Opponent will be revealed in the coming days.
The head of Matchroom Boxing said Seconds Out: “Never rule anything out, but right now we are focused on Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title.
“Anthony Joshua’s goal is to fight for the world heavyweight title as soon as possible.
“The only one of the names mentioned that could offer this opportunity is Daniel Dubois, from the IBF.
“If the IBF title isn’t on the line, then maybe Dubois isn’t as focused.
“We are in final negotiations with His Excellency and Selah’s team.
“Obviously we’ve talked to George Warren and Spencer Brown and we’re all working together on this card.

“Very hopeful that everything will be in order to announce the entire card network on Wednesday in London.”
Dubois won the interim heavyweight title earlier this month with a surprising eighth-round stoppage of undefeated Filip Hrgovic.
And ‘Triple D’ is confident of stopping AJ’s career resurgence with a second consecutive win.
“It’s a dream,” he said of the eye-watering fight in London.
“Especially after having to recover from defeats and fight for the world title.
“Now I have a chance to win the damn thing and that’s what I want.
“I’m going to demolish AJ, I can only get better from here.”
