HEAVYWEIGHT boxer Tyson Fury earned a staggering £573,000 a week last year as his fortune reached almost £120 million.
The heavyweight star’s assets rose from £54m to £118m due to sponsorship deals and mega-fights.
The self-styled Gypsy King – who was stripped of his world title belt last month – added a further £29.8m to his fortune in 2023.
Tyson Fury Ltd accounts published this week show the company is worth £82.3m – up from £52.3m in 2022.
But the Gypsy King’s new accounts do not include his recent £85m clash in Saudi Arabia with Oleksandr Usyk – so his fortune is expected to rise to more than £250m.
Despite his huge earnings, the 35-year-old father of the seven Fury only paid himself a £150,000 dividend from the April 2022 to September 2023 period covered by the accounts.
The popular star earned £63.3 million – or more than £115,000 a day – through Tyson Fury Limited, documentation filed at Companies House reveals.
And its latest impressive earnings take the cash held by the company to a whopping £118m.
The accounts also reveal that – after allowing bills worth £36.4m – Fury retained £82m in profits at his company.
During the accounting period, Fury fought and beat Brits Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte and struck a deal to meet MMA star Francis Ngannou in a crossover fight in October 2023.
The Gypsy King – who starred in hit Netflix show At Home with the Furys, detailing family life in Morecambe, Lancs – is keeping the majority of his earnings in £109m in investments.
His physical investments include his new mansion, as well as land holdings and a caravan park in Rochdale.
Man Utd fan Fury founded his company in 2013 and recorded £400,000 in its first year of trading, before making his first million in 2017.
His company lists its nature of business as “sports activities, property rental and public relations.”
The star also founded property company Greenway Balmoral in 2023, with its first accounts due in 2023.
Fury made £85million by losing his world titles to maestro Usyk, 37, in Riyadh last month.
But the star – who suffered a split decision defeat – has the chance for revenge, and another big prize, with a rematch against the Ukrainian in December.
And a source said: “Tyson has really come into his own over the last few years and has boxed intelligently in and out of the ring.
“He has been very focused on his career and family.
“And that means winning as much as possible so everyone can be happy and comfortable when he hangs up the gloves.
“Usyk’s fights will obviously increase his fortune, as will any fight between him and Anthony Joshua, if that happens.”
