JOHNNY FISHER’S family went from flogging meat in a van in Essex to becoming global social media superstars.
The Fishers were at rock bottom during the height of the pandemic.
His elegant cheese business had lost all its customers.
So this resulted in them going door to door trying to sell steaks and joints.
But Johnny Jr’s heavy hands, giant appetite and Big John’s trademark ‘bosh’ catchphrase have since won him over a million followers.
And that led to VIP tours to Australia and Las Vegas to sample and review the hottest restaurants.
Before his Saturday night shootout with Alen Babic, 25-year-old South Zone champion Johnny Jr explained how his team’s popularity hit home: “What we’ve established is a dream.
“Three or four years ago, my business was in a lot of trouble, our entire customer base, all the restaurants closed.
“We were selling cheese to restaurants and kitchens and suddenly that stopped and we had to go door to door selling meat to people who were in the door of a van.
“We just had to hand over the money, we weren’t making a cent, we were just staying afloat.

“My dad obviously helped more than enough with ticket sales.
“The celebrity he has become is a big help.
“But it was great before when I was selling tickets at venues like Ally Pally and the O2 in 2021.
“Big John just contributed to that and long may it continue.”
Despite selling out large venues alone, with the Bosh Army currently numbering well over 2,000 men, Johnny Jr refuses to be flash.
In a sport where everyone seems to blow their own trumpet and pledge the land, Fisher is proud of where he’s led his family and is honest about where it could end up.
The promise of brute strength has helped him go 11-0 – with only one going the distance – but boxing trolls keep trying to remind him that the sport is not a popularity contest.
“What’s the point of giving everything to Billy Big B******s?” asked the University of Exeter history graduate.
“I’m just fighting with another guy and we’ll see what wins.
“People are going to write me off no matter what I do, it doesn’t matter.
“If I knock someone out in one round, I’m rubbish, if it goes to points, I’m rubbish.
“All that matters is that I’m supporting my family and doing my job.
“Whether it ends with a world title, a British title or a Saturday night title, one thing is certain is that I’m not going down without a fight.”
