NATE DIAZ made the room laugh with his two-word response to winning £1.2million for Conor McGregor.
The pair share one of the most iconic UFC rivalries of all time, with the score tied at one apiece after the classic two-fight series.
But despite the disagreement, McGregor still backed Diaz to beat Jorge Masvidal in their boxing rematch.
The Irishman raised £390,000 and recovered £1.2m after Diaz beat Masvidal on points.
Diaz was told about McGregor’s bet and subsequent winnings at the press conference, but only responded: “That’s cool.”
Laughter erupted in the room when McGregor later posted: “I make you so much money you can swim in it!”
Diaz, 39, became famous for becoming the first to defeat McGregor, 35, in the UFC with a submission victory in March 2016.
But he lost the rematch five years later and a trilogy has not materialized since.
Meanwhile, Diaz switched to boxing and lost his debut to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in August 2023.
But he bounced back with a victory over Masvidal, 39, who had won their opening fight in 2019.
Afterwards, Diaz called out Paul, 27, for a rematch, as well as UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, 32, who beat him in 2021.
Diaz said: “I’m going to beat the fuck out of Jake Paul. I’m ready to fight the highest ranked boxer I can find.
“My main goal has always been to be the best fighter in the world, so I want to come back and win the UFC title.
“Leon Edwards, Jake Paul and anyone else, you are dead.”
