OLEKSANDR USYK is so short of opponents that he could switch to MMA or fight Jake Paul while on Disability.
The great Ukrainian became the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion in history by beating Tyson Fury.
But he was forced to relinquish his IBF title to go ahead with the rematch planned for December 21 in Saudi Arabia.
One of Usyk’s coaches – Sergey Lapin – predicted that another defeat would mean the end of Fury’s iconic career.
And that would leave Usyk eyeing MMA or even a spectacular fight with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in search of new challenges.
Lapin said Bet: “He has proven he is the best of this generation and when he retires from Tyson Fury he will consider his options.
“Maybe this is a weight drop again, or maybe there’s a wild card option on the table for him; whether it’s in the boxing ring, the MMA cage or even Conor McGregor’s Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.”
“Can you imagine Usyk and Jon Jones fighting to prove they are the baddest man on the planet?
“Or maybe it will be a third fight with Anthony Joshua in the MMA cage?
“Maybe it’s Jake Paul at cruiserweight, although Usyk would need to fight him with one hand behind his back to be fair.”

Paul, 27, returns this weekend against former UFC star and boxer Mike Perry, 32.
Meanwhile, Usyk, 37, prepares for a rematch with Fury, 35, looking to continue his reign of dominance at heavyweight.
Lapin added: “Usyk is running out of challenges at heavyweight.
“He accepted the challenge at heavyweight and became the undisputed world heavyweight champion, a lot of work was necessary for this achievement.
“After the rematch we will see who will remain in the heavyweight division, but Usyk has already passed that level, everyone who stood in Usyk’s way has been surpassed.
“Now we are ready for a rematch with Fury, then we will know who will be next.”
