Florida Basketball released its full non-conference schedule for 2024-25 on Tuesday, a list that features up to six potential matchups with power conference opponents.
O Florida alligators will play seven of its 13 non-conference games at the O’Connell Center, starting Nov. 7 against Jacksonville, and five more games at neutral sites. The only road test on the non-conference schedule will come Nov. 15 at rival Florida State.
Other highlights include a Dec. 4 home matchup against Virginia in the ACC-SEC Challenge, a Dec. 14 matchup with Arizona State at Holiday Hoopsgiving in Atlanta and a date with North Carolina on Dec. 17 in the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte, NC.
Florida returns three starters, including leading scorer and All-American point guard candidate Walter Clayton Jr. (17.6 ppg last season) from a team that finished 24-12 and reached the NCAA tournament under coach Todd Golden, which is entering its third season.
The Gators will also face two programs led by coaches with former UF ties – Jacksonville (coached by former UF assistant coach Jordan Mincy) and Stetson (coached by former UF assistant Donnie Jones).
