Among the recruits on North Carolina’s 2025 recruiting board is five-star offensive lineman Nate Ament. He’s a top-10 player in the class and has interest from several major programs so far.
Ament has a total of 29 offers in his recruitment and this fall he has his sights set on a few visits to programs. Although Ament hasn’t officially set any visits, he is in the process of doing so and his list is full of great programs.
According to HSTopRecruiting, Ament is currently booking visits with UConn, Kentucky, DukeNorth Carolina and Virginia. As the post notes, visits have not yet been determined, but will take place this fall.

For North Carolina, this is tough competition. The list features two-time national champions in UConn, plus two Blue Blood programs in Duke and Kentucky, as well as a very strong program in Virginia.
The Tar Heels have visits scheduled with other recruits this fall and adding Ament to the list would be huge.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Ament is ranked No. 7 nationally, the No. 4 power forward and the No. 1 player in the state of Virginia according to the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings.
