In three months, Duke Basketball will be in Atlanta to play Kentucky as part of the Champions Classic in one of the highlights of the college basketball early season schedule.

The Blue Devils will have an entirely different look in the 2024-25 season, replacing nine players with 10 newcomers, including four transfer portal additions and six freshmen.

Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster are the holdovers. That duo will be joined by Cooper Flagg, among others, in Jon Scheyer’s third season as head coach.

But it’s never too early to look at who’s on the list to join the Blue Devils ahead of the 2025-26 season. Here’s an update on four players in the 2025 class, each with Duke among their final picks.

Duke basketball could be the favorite to sign Shelton Henderson

A 6-foot-5 small forward from Texas, Henderson is a top-25 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. Scheduled to make an official visit to Durham during the Countdown to Madness on October 4, Henderson is down to six schools. The Blue Devils are the favorites to sign Henderson, who could be Duke’s next star on the wing.

Dutch standout Dwayne Aristode rising star in class of 2025

A 6-foot-1 wing out of Brewster Academy, Aristode is ranked No. 18 in the 247Sports Composite. Scheduled to visit Michigan State in late August and Duke in September, the Dutch star has not officially received a scholarship offer from the Blue Devils. Still, Aristode is a top target as a rising star in the 2025 class.

Braylon Mullins scheduled to visit Duke, UNC

The Indiana sharpshooter is flying a bit under the radar, but is a top-100 player nationally in the 247Sports Composite. Mullins, who has visits scheduled to Duke and North Carolina, is considered a top-5 shooter by 247Sports.

Acaden Lewis is among Duke’s best guards

One of the best point guards in the class of 2025, Acaden Lewis has Duke among his final eight schools. Lewis, a DMV combo guard, visited Durham on Aug. 6 and is scheduled for an official visit sometime in the fall. A rising star in his class, Lewis went from being a top-100 prospect in the 247Sports rankings to a top-25 prospect.
