Advance Achor Achor was one of the main reasons for the Bulldogs’ success last season, leading the team with 16.1 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game. His season performance landed him on the All-SoCon team alongside the Auburn transfer JP Pegas. After the season, Achor entered the transfer portal and attracted interest from several schools, including Auburn. According to Joe Tipton of On3Achor will be on campus this week for an official visit.
Auburn continues its search to find a suitable replacement for Jaylyn Williams after hitting two targets last week. Old Clemson advance RJ Godfrey should have visited last week but canceled in favor of committing to Georgia. Montgomery native Duke Miles appeared for an official visit to Auburn last week, but the former High Point product ended up choosing Oklahoma over the Tigers.
Achor would be a solid addition to Auburn’s rotation due to his experience and size. His 6-9 stature, mixing his knowledge with players like Johni Broome It is Chris Moore will help with the development of newcomers Tahaad Pettiford It is Jahki Howard.
By transfer, Achor is rated as a four-star striker by 247 Sports and is the 36th overall forward in the transfer portal.
