Everything that stands in the way of the UK: State of Indianawho avoided elimination at the Lexington Regional in consecutive games, defeating western Michigan on Saturday and then Illinois in the first competition on Sunday.
Now the Wild cats and Sycamores face off on Sunday night.

If Indiana State earns its third straight win, the two teams will return for a winner-take-all matchup on Monday.

Kentucky Baseballversus game State of Indiana at the NCAA Tournament Lexington Regional is on hold because of Mother Nature. Inclement weather in the Lexington area delayed the start of Sunday night’s game, which was scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
The first bid has yet to be defined.

Kentucky’s NCAA Tournament regional game against Indiana State will be broadcast at 6 p.m. Sunday on ESPN+.

Kentucky 7, Indiana State 6: The Sycamores have won seven games against power conference opponents this season and, with the 10th-best RPI in the country, are projected as a possible top-16 seed in the NCAA Tournament. This did not happened. So while Sunday is far from an easy game for Kentucky, it is much more rested, physically and mentally, than Indiana State, which had to fight to keep its season alive for two days in a row. The Sycamores will continue the tight offense from Sunday’s first game to take the lead over UK, but the Wildcats will mount a late rally to reach the super regionals for the second consecutive season.
