2025 DB Martel Jackson commits to K-State – EMAWOnline

Kansas State dipped into the Sunflower State for its next commitment, adding 2025 cornerback Martel Jackson to class.

Jackson announced his commitment via his personal Twitter account after a quick recruiting saga that lasted about 10 days.

Jackson received an offer from the Wildcats on May 30 after an impressive camp at K-State. After camp, Jackson scheduled an official visit for this weekend and committed immediately afterward.

The 6-foot-1 cornerback fits the mold of a K-State cornerback, presenting the size and athletic profile to fit into K-State’s defense. His experience at a school like Derby High School, which had an 11-2 record last season, also helps. Jackson played in 12 games for Derby last season, totaling 37 tackles in his junior season.

Jackson is the fourth player to commit to K-State’s Class of 2025. Quarterback Dillon Duff it was the program’s first commitment. He was followed by the linebacker Weston Polk and offensive attack Does Kemna. He is the first commit in the Kansas class.
