The OSU men’s basketball team secured the commitment of West Virginia transfer Patrick Suemnick on Wednesday.
Suemnick is a 6-foot-5 forward who started at the junior college level, spent one season at Robert Morris and then spent the last two seasons at West Virginia. He averaged 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 14 minutes per game last season.

Suemnick is OSU’s eighth transfer. It’s a renewed cast for a team that has gone through a lot of changes recently.
After going 12-20 (4-14 Big 12) last season, OSU fired head coach Mike Boynton on March 14. It then lost nine players to the transfer portal or graduation, and hired Western Kentucky’s Steve Lutz as its new head coach. on April 1st.
OSU has two scholarship spots remaining after Suemnick’s addition.
