Today is the day, as a tight end of 2025 Linkon Healing will announce his appointment at 5 p.m.

The four-star tight end will choose between Kansas State, Kansas, Oregon and Texas A&M. The four programs were the only schools that received an official visit from Cure.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the Cure announcement.

THE COMPETITORS

Kansas: Kansas was the first school to receive an official visit from Cure, with the Goodland (Kans.) High School star visiting the Jayhawks on May 31. There are ties between Cure and the Kansas program, as her older brother, Leyton, signed with the Jayhawks as a preferred walk-on this off-season.

Texas A&M: Texas A&M hosted an official visit from the Cure on June 6. The Aggies’ interest in the Cure increased after they hired former K-State offensive coordinator Colin Klein, which was a major part of his early recruitment with the Wildcats. Texas A&M currently holds a commitment for the four-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong.

Oregon: Oregon was the third school to receive an official visit from Cure. This visit began on June 14 and early reports of this visit indicate that it went well. However, the Ducks recently landed a commitment from Derby (Kans.) High School tight end DaSaahn Brame.

Kansas State: Cure scheduled his official visit to K-State before any other official visits, but it was his last visit. The Wildcats have been after Cure for more than a year, and the recruiting hasn’t stopped after Klein’s departure. The Wildcats do not have a committed tight end in the 2025 class.

The buzz

K-State has been the favorite for some time, even before an official visit that seemed to go incredibly well. That visit could have helped K-State secure a potential commitment if Cure chose the Wildcats.

The All Rivals FutureCast currently favors the Wildcats, with predictions coming from EMAW online personnel and national recruitment analyst Greg Smith.
