Ultimately, though, Harrell chose to join Kim English’s Providence Friars, he announced in a Monday night live appointment video on Youtube. Providence is just over 40 miles south of Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science (CATS) in Braintree, Massachusetts, where Harrell is the State’s top-rated player in his class, per 247Sportsand was Gatorade Player of the Year in 2023.

Harrell visited Xavier in May and was originally scheduled to make a college decision on May 27. He then postponed his appointment until Monday. Harrell plays AAU basketball for Expressions Elite, the same program former Musketeer Desmond Claude played for during his prep career.
