Boardwalk Battle college basketball tournament to be held at Ocean Center in Daytona Beach in November

The end of November will feature not one, but two men’s college basketball tournaments at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach.

Joining the annual Sunshine Slam event set for November 25-26, the first Boardwalk Battle will take place November 21-23. It will include eight mid-major teams: East Carolina, Jacksonville State, James Madison, La Salle, Stetson, Toledo, UC San Diego and UIC.

Each program will play three games. The winners of the first round matches will advance to the semifinals, while the losers will fall into the consolation bracket.

The first round clashes on November 21st are:

  • James Madison vs. UIC, 11 a.m.

  • La Salle vs. UC San Diego, 1 p.m.

  • East Carolina vs. Jacksonville State, 3:30 p.m.

  • Toledo vs. Stetson, 5:30 p.m.

The title game is scheduled for 5:30 pm on November 23rd.

Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. They can also be purchased on competition days at the Ocean Center box office.
