North Carolina’s massive 2025 recruiting board began to take shape as Hubert Davis and his staff identified top targets. Two of those targets are Malachi Moreno and Braylon Mullins, both of whom are scheduled to visit UNC this fall.
And while North Carolina has a chance to impress each of its recruits on the visit, there could be a package deal at stake.
In an interview with 247 Sports, Moreno talked about whether or not he and Mullins would team up at the next level. His response left the door open:
“Yeah, we talked about (playing together),” Moreno told 247Sports last weekend. “When we’re together, we play so much basketball together that we don’t talk about basketball much. We talked about what happens outside of basketball. We definitely thought about whether we would play together in college.”
The two are teammates on the Indiana Elite for the 3SSB Circuit this summer, so North Carolina got a chance to see both of them play. Both received offers around the same time.
With visits scheduled in September, the Tar Heels will take a look at their potential draft position. And achieving both would be a dream for the Tar Heels’ class of 2025.
