AUGUSTA NORTE, SC – Perspective #60 in Rivals of 2026150, Daniel Miller has some offerings in town and is starting to attract a lot of additional interest. Miller averaged 16.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game while running with the Florida Rebels 16U at the Peach Jam last week and impressed in gyms packed with college coaches.

Rivals caught up with the four-star guard to discuss the early stages of his recruitment and which programs he’s been in contact with most frequently.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS HE IS INTERESTED IN VISITING:

“When the time comes to finish the visits, I definitely want to check out Tennessee. I’ll probably check it out UCF It is USF. Indiana, also. I want to see Auburn and NJIT too.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMS THAT PURSUED HIM MOST AT THIS INITIAL SETTING:

“Auburn and USF right now are probably the ones in contact the most. I’ve already talked to them a lot.”

ON AUBURN’S BRUCE PEARL WATCHING THE HSI GAME FROM A SEAT ON THE COURT:

“I saw him watching, but I try not to focus on the college coaches watching. I just try to focus on showing my best game and what I can do to help the team. I felt like I could have done a little more today, actually. I probably complained a little too much to the referees, but that’s something I can improve. But we got a win and that’s what matters.”

ON WHAT HE LOOKS FOR IN A COLLEGE HOME:

“I’m really just looking for a school that replicates my style. Also, what is the coach like? Is the coach a tough coach who demands greatness or does he let some players off more easily than others?

REACTION FROM RIVALS

Miller already has some scholarship offers, as UCF, NJIT and Mercer have already made things official. However, there are many important programs knocking on your door, and additional important offers are expected to arrive this year.

Auburn has shown serious interest in his recruitment and could make an offer in the near future. Miller is the son of a high school coach turned scout for the Orlando Magic Rae Miller.
