Rick Barnes and the Tennessee coaching staff have offered guard Davion Thompson a scholarship in 2027.
“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Thompson said.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard is from Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
There are currently no recruiting rankings for Thompson on 247Sports, Rivals, On3 or ESPN.
The Vols are the only Southeastern Conference school to offer Thompson so far.
Thompson has seven scholarship offers. He has offers from Tennessee, washington, IowaWake Forest, Eastern Illinois, Bryant, Michigan and Illinois.
Center DeWayne Brown is Tennessee’s only commitment in its 2025 recruiting class.
