Texas A&M Football coach Mike Elko is building his defense in the trenches and that was emphasized again on crunch day when he landed another talented prospect on the defensive line.
According to On3 national recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett, four-star defensive lineman DJ Sanders committed to the Aggies on Wednesday night. Sanders is 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds and will graduate from Bellville High School in the Lone Star State next year.
On3 ranked Sanders as the 79th overall recruit in the class of 2025, No. 14 in Texas and the eighth-best defensive lineman. Sanders had 18 total offers and chose Texas A&M over more than half of the programs that were in this year’s College Football Playoff: defending national champion Michigan and the Longhorns.
