The Georgia Bulldogs have lost the commitment of four-star defensive line recruit Christian Garrett. Garrett’s lack of commitment hurt the Bulldogs because he was the best player on Georgia’s defensive line.

Georgia now has 22 total commitments in the class of 2025. The Bulldogs have the third-ranked recruiting class in the SEC. A recent surge from Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers helped LSU leapfrog Georgia in the recruiting rankings.

The Alabama Crimson Tide continues to have the No. 1-ranked recruiting class in the SEC in the first year of the Kalen DeBoer era. There is still a long way to go in the 2025 class, but DeBoer has been a threat in the recruiting process to begin his career at Alabama.

The SEC has six of the top seven recruiting classes in the country. The SEC is the best recruiting conference in college football.
