College football is in the era of unlimited transfers and Wednesday brought Michigan Football I got to see firsthand how wild this ride can be.

Amorion Walker, a former wide receiver at Ann Arbor who switched to defense before transferring to Ole Miss in January, announced on social media that he has decided to transfer back and rejoin the Wolverines.

“I came back as if I had never left. #Goooo“, Walker posted.

Walker is expected to return to Michigan to join coach Ron Bellamy’s room; he was the day’s second addition to the room after CJ Charleston, a graduate transfer from Youngstown State, also committed.

Walker played five games at quarterback last season, recording three tackles and one pass breakup. He played six games the year before, with one reception for four yards. A three-star prospect in the 2022 class who left Notre Dame late, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver isn’t a proven commodity, but he’s one of the fastest players in the Big Ten and brings depth and familiarity to a room. that needs options.
