MEMPHIS, Tenn. – One of the best point guards in the 2025 class, Jalen Reece has added significant muscle this season and is showing off his well-rounded game with the Florida Rebels on the youth circuit this season. The son of a coach, Reece has a long list of major scholarship offers and is only now beginning to form opinions about the schools pursuing him.
Rivals recently caught up with the four-star guard to discuss his process and what could happen in his recruitment.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS
ABOUT THE PROGRAMS MOST INVOLVED WITH HIM HOW THINGS STAND
“Cincinnati, UCF … Michigan just offered it to me. Ohio State is still involved. Providence has been really involved lately. They have been active.”
DURING THE VISITS HE HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN
“I went to Providence unofficially. I went to LSU and Ohio State and Cincinnati too.”
IN PROVIDENCE
“I like the coach [Kim] English. He’s nice people. He always motivates me and tells me what I need to do better. I also like how he trains.”
ON YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH CINCINNATI
“It’s going well. I love coach Wes (Miller). You know Jizz [James] is up there – that’s my real big brother. He motivates me and tells me to keep playing hard and everything will work out.”
ABOUT WHAT JAMES TELLS HIM ABOUT THE BEARCAT PROGRAM
“He tells me it’s a great environment and the culture is good. He keeps me up to date on everything in Cincinnati.”
IN MICHIGAN
“They offered me right after they arrived from FAU because they had already offered me at FAU before. I’m going to visit Michigan in September or something like that. I still don’t know much about Michigan’s program, so I hope to learn more. I just know Dusty May He’s a great coach. I had my teammate (Elijah Elliott) committed to FAU while Coach May was there. I already have a great relationship with Coach May and we’re trying to build on that.”

REACTION FROM RIVALS
Reece’s father, being from Ohio and having ties to Cincinnati, plays for the Bearcats. So does the fact that Jizzle James, a close friend of the four-star guard, remains on the Bearcats’ roster. Hometown UCF also looks like a real player, as do Providence and Michigan. Missouri shouldn’t be ruled out either.
