The Wisconsin Badgers football team offered Rico Blassingame, a three-star wide receiver in the 2026 class from Tolleson, Arizona, on Tuesday.
News also broke Tuesday that the talented wide receiver is scheduled for unofficial visits to Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State in June.
The 6-foot-4, 180-pound athlete caught 60 passes for 593 yards and a touchdown during his sophomore year at Tolleson Union, attracting attention from programs across the country. Blassingame has already received 15 Division 1 offers, including Indiana, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin within the Big Ten.
With Wisconsin’s offense undergoing a complete overhaul under offensive coordinator Phil Longo and his “Air Raid” offense, athletes like Blassingame will be watching the Badgers this season. If Luke Fickell’s team can show improvements in the passing game in particular, it would certainly increase their chances of landing Blassingame and others in 2026.
Considering he is a member of the class of 2026, Blassingame is unlikely to make a decision on his college fate anytime soon.
