There’s a mountain of big news heading into the busy month of June across the country. The Eastern region is no exception. National Recruiting Analyst at Rivals Adam Friedman has the latest news in this edition of the rumor mill.

Iheanacho’s recruitment is still in its early stages, but some teams have already made a strong impression. Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Alabama It is Texas are just some of the teams that have caught his attention so far.
Iheanacho has plenty of time to do research and get to know the coaches at these schools, but he has already built a good relationship with Penn State’s offensive line coach Phil TrautweinAlabama offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic and offensive line coach at Oregon A’lique Terry.
There will be plenty of visits for Iheanacho, but one school he would like to see in the near future is Tennessee.

Georgia hosted Gilchrist for an unofficial visit earlier this month and he really liked the atmosphere in Athens. He spent time with the coaches and enjoyed getting to know them more. The Bulldogs are just one of his last seven schools, along with Alabama, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Technology and Penn State.
Gilchrist has official visits to South Carolina and Maryland scheduled now and he loves both schools because the coaching staff has been completely open with him throughout the recruiting process.
Gilchrist admitted that South Carolina is his leader right now, saying, “I will say South Carolina is number one right now.”
Look for a commitment from Gilchrist in late July.

Watts made his official visiting schedule public on Friday, highlighting Clemson, Wisconsin, Duke, Michigan It is Boston College. The Tigers and Wolverines are the betting favorites to secure his commitment at the moment, but official visits could change things.
Wisconsin and Duke have had a lot of success recruiting New England and Watts is keeping an open mind. Georgia and Alabama are also on the prowl.

Goodman will be a big feature in next week’s rankings update, but his recruitment is really starting to come into focus. AuburnPenn State, Georgia, Alabama and USC will take him on official visits between now and the dead period at the end of June, but he doesn’t plan to commit before August.
At this point, Goodman has Georgia, Penn State and Auburn in his top division, followed by USC and Alabama. Ikinnagbon committed to Georgia in mid-April, but made his decision a few weeks before announcing his commitment. The talented defensive lineman from New Jersey wants to compete for national championships and compete against top competition, so Georgia made sense for him.
Georgia outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe is Ikinnagbon’s main recruiter and the two have formed a strong relationship. They met in person and are closer in age than many of the other coaches who recruited Ikinnagbon, so that helped.
At least one team hasn’t stopped recruiting Ikinnabon. Ohio State continued to make him feel like a priority. Defensive line coach Larry Johnson has made a strong impression on Ikinnagbon and he appears to be gaining momentum. Ikinnagbon is planning to make an official visit to Ohio State on June 7, the weekend after his scheduled official visit to Georgia on May 31.

Oklahoma was considered Evans’ leader, but there is still much to do before his commitment. North Caroline will take him on an official visit on May 31, followed by Virginia on June 7 and then Oklahoma on June 21.
An offer from Penn State last week could make some waves. He is expected to make an official visit to see the Nittany Lions, but the date has not yet been set. Evans planned to commit in June, but the timeline is not set.

Harris is in the top 10, but her list of top candidates is shorter than that. Tennessee will take him for an official visit on June 7th, followed by Maryland on June 14 and then at Penn State on June 21. Florida, Syracuse It is Michigan are also potential candidates for official visits. Harris plans to commit around July 1, but that date is flexible.

Virginia Technology made Kemajou a priority early in the recruiting process and they appear to be in a strong position heading into the official visit season. Penn State is a big threat and they are scheduled to host him on his first official visit on May 31st. West Virginiathe official visit will be on June 7th, followed by Duke on June 14 and then the Hokies have the final say on June 21. Kemajou doesn’t plan to commit until the fall, so there’s plenty of time for teams to compete for position.

Elee’s recruitment has exploded this spring and the Rivals250 defensive end has a number of visits planned for this spring. He grew up an Alabama fan and will be in Tuscaloosa on June 22nd. Penn State was one of his first offers and they will welcome him back on June 2nd.
Ohio State was one of Elee’s most recent offers and he will be taking a trip to Columbus on June 17th. Look for Elee to visit Kentucky, Cincinnati, Indiana, Purdue It is Notre Dame in June as part of a spring visit with a group of players from the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ohio State rocked McFadden when he visited this spring and the Buckeyes could be the team to beat in his recruitment, but Colorado It’s a big draw for him, too. McFadden is very close to Jordan Seatonthe 2024 five-star who signed with the Buffs, and who is working for Colorado.
McFadden has a May 31 official visit to Ohio State scheduled and is planning visits to South Carolina and Colorado in June. He hopes to take official visits this fall, with Maryland, Penn State and Florida as possible candidates.

Coleman, a former Georgia commit, took a slower approach to his recruitment for the second time. North Carolina is scheduled to host him for an official visit on June 11 and then he will head to Michigan State a few days later for an official visit on June 14. Coleman will also take an official visit to Penn State on June 21.
The Nittany Lions already have commitments from three other running backs, so it will be interesting to see how this road trip plays out. Coleman likes each of these schools because of how much they run the ball and involve the running back in the passing game. Expect Coleman to announce a commitment before the season.

It will be worth watching Woodby’s recruitment closely in the coming months. The former Ohio State committeeman visited Georgia earlier this month and thoroughly enjoyed speaking with Kirby Intelligent. Defense coach Donte Williams is Woodby’s main point of contact and their relationship is growing stronger.
Woodby enjoyed being around other players and coaches during the scavenger hunt and getting to know them. Auburn, which also hosted Woodby earlier this offseason, will bring him back to campus for an official visit on May 31. to Maryland on June 21.
Georgia, Oregon and Cincinnati will receive official visits from Woodby, but they are not yet scheduled.

Finney’s official visit is still a bit fluid, but he will take official visits to Penn State, Georgia, South Carolina and Oregon. His school has been fertile recruiting ground for Penn State in the past and he has become close to the coaching staff.
Finney contacted Georgia’s defensive backs coach Donte Williams. He’s excited to see how he connects with the players and coaching staff when he’s on campus.
In South Carolina, Finney is impressed with the defenses Torriano Gray and your ability to develop potential customers. The Oregon coaching staff has done a good job with Finney so far and he is very familiar with them.
Michigan is also in the running for an official visit from Finney before he commits, which could happen shortly before or during the fall.

Hayer has been circulating this spring and is looking forward to his official visits over the next four weeks. Cincinnati is first on May 31, followed by Rutgers on June 7th, State of Michigan on June 14 and in Maryland on June 21. These four candidates are tightly clustered ahead of their official visit schedule, so this portion of their recruitment is extremely important. Hayer hopes to commit around July 1.
