The college football season is about three months away, and Thursday was the day we learned more about when and on which channel some more games will start this season.
O Michigan State Football the tradition will indeed live on, as the Spartans’ home opener against Florida Atlantic has officially been moved to Friday, Aug. 30, and will air on the Big Ten Network.
The following week, MSU will begin the Big Ten portion of its schedule with a visit to Maryland on September 7th. The game will be at 3:30 pm on BTN. The Spartans’ Week 3 home game (Sept. 14) against Prairie View A&M will also be at 3:30 p.m. on BTN.
MSU will play two other regular-season games on Fridays: Oct. 4 at new Big Ten member Oregon (9 p.m., Fox) and Nov. 22 against Purdue (8 p.m., Fox).
O Michigan Football the schedule also has a little more clarity now. It was previously announced that UM would open the season on August 31 against Fresno State at 7:30 pm (NBC) at home, followed by a visit from new SEC member Texas on September 7 (noon, Fox).
