The dates for the first 12-team college football playoff are set.
The start times and broadcast networks for all 11 games in the expanded version of the college football postseason were revealed Wednesday.
The field will be announced on December 8th – the day after the conclusion of conference championship weekend.
Four first round games played on campuses will take place on December 20th and 21st. Two games will be broadcast on TNT Sports, part of the network’s new playoff deal that will also see it air two first-round games in the 2025-26 season. ESPN will broadcast the remaining nine playoff games.
The four quarterfinal games – played in the Fiesta Bowl, Peach Bowl, Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl – will be played on December 31 and January 1 and the two semifinals – played in the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl – will be played on 9 of January. and 10. The national championship game will be Jan. 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
