LSU is on a roll to start the 2025 recruiting class, retaining 11 commitments – headlined by five stars Bryce Underwood It is Caden Durham – in a class that reaches second place nationally, depending on the service.

But this is the time of year that can really make or break a class. The rush of the June official visit is upon us, and the weekends in Baton Rouge have been very busy for the recruiting team.

With a strong class already in place and LSU in position to land several other blue-chippers, 247Sports is buying shares of the 2025 class at this point in the cycle.

Class summary: #6 Overall | 11 Commitments | 93.81 Average. Assessment

The fact that LSU dropped just three spots and remains firmly in the top 10 recruiting rankings following Dakorien Moore’s release is a testament to how deep and talented this class is. Brian Kelly has cemented a formidable foundation for this achievement with the best overall player, quarterback Bryce Underwood, and he may not be the only five-star prospect in this group for long. Last weekend’s official visit put the Tigers in a good position with Kaliq Lockett, and LSU has emerged as perhaps the biggest threat to take down No. 1 interior lineman Soloman Thomas of Florida State.

“I think if you polled all of us at 247Sports and we had to pick one recruiting class that we are buying shares in right now, it would be LSU,” Ivins said earlier this spring.

Getting players like Kaliq Lockett or Soloman Tomás would be huge, and the Tigers appear to have been back on Dakorien Moore’s radar after he retired last month, hosting him for a seemingly productive official visit this past weekend.

There’s a long way to go between now and signing day, but the Tigers have what it takes to be a truly special class.
