Ohio State football has no problem recruiting wide receivers, but it doesn’t always work out for the Buckeyes.
Illinois 2026 Wide Receiver, Taylor Taylorwas scheduled to pay an official visit to Colombo later this month, but after seeing Georgiaa decision was made by the Bulldogs.
Ohio State has one commitment in the class right now, New Jersey’s De’zie Jones. They are the leading contenders for four of the top six receivers in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Ratings, Dakorien Moore, Kaliq LockettJaime Ffrench and Vernell Brown III.
If the Buckeyes can get commitments from two of those four, it would be a big cycle.
The Buckeyes don’t have many backup options right now, so they should feel good about where they stand relative to their remaining targets.
