The Nebraska Cornhuskers on Wednesday extended an offer to 6-foot-2, 275-pound defensive lineman Tajh Overton, a near-consensus four-star prospect out of Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma.

Three of the four recruiting services rate Overton as a four-star prospect, with On3 being the only one not to do so. Overton has a strong offer sheet so far with offers from FloridaHouston, Iowa State, Kansas State, State of Michigan, OklahomaOklahoma State, SMU, TCU and Texas.

The Cornhuskers currently have no commitments in their 2026 recruiting class, but do hold 10 commitments in their 2025 recruiting class, including recently signed three-star athlete Pierce Mooberry. The Omaha, Nebraska native is expected to be the Huskers’ starting linebacker.
