Recruiting predictions rise in Penn State’s favor for four-star CB Jahmir Joseph

Temperatures are heating up across the region, and so are the recruiting battles in the class of 2025. Penn State is hoping to gain momentum on the recruiting trail after a busy few weekends hosting visitors, and it looks like some positive news could be coming soon. time. Two recruiting predictions presented on Sunday show that Penn State is the favorite to secure the four-star cornerback’s commitment. Jahmir José outside of New Jersey.

247Sports national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn and Lions247 staff writer Tyler Calvaruso each recorded one official crystal ball prediction in favor of Penn State to Joseph on June 16th. This appears to be encouraging news for the Nittany Lions as the four-star cornerback is coming off an official visit to Penn State.

Plus, the latest update from the On3 recruiting prediction machine for Joseph gives Penn State a resounding 92.7% chance of winning your appointment. That ranking was tilted in Penn State’s favor before their official visit, but an official Penn State recruiting forecast from On3 recruiting analyst Ryan Snyder helped weigh the ranking more in Penn State’s favor.

Joseph is scheduled to take an official visit to South Carolina next weekend. He made official visits to Stanford and Notre Dame in the two weeks before his visit to Penn State. Joseph is classified as no. 5th overall player in New Jersey by 247Sports, and he is ranked as the no. 23 cornerback in the country. The 6′-0″ Montvale, NJ recruiting target is entering his senior season at Saint Joseph Regional and has already made two additional unofficial visits to Penn State.

Penn State’s Class of 2025 currently holds the No. 1 spot. 13 in 247Sports’ updated composite team rankings. That’s four positions down where Penn State ranked at the beginning of the month. Two Big Ten teams, Rutgers It is Wisconsin, have moved ahead of Penn State in recent weeks, knocking Penn State from no. 3 among Big Ten programs for no. 5.
