It’s a day in June that ends in “Y,” which recently means someone has committed to playing Michigan football.

That was again the case on Saturday afternoon when the Wolverines secured a commitment from four-star Julius Holly in the Class of 2025. The 6-foot-1, 230-pound defensive lineman from Alpharetta, Georgia, chose UM over Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, among others.

“100% committed #GoBlue,” Holly posted on social media.

Holly is the number 38 player in Georgia, by 247Sports composite rankingswhich also places him as the 22nd ranked player in the country and the 301st overall player in the class.

He is the fourth defensive line commitment to pledge to head coach Sherrone Moore and new DL coach Lou Esposito; he joins four-star Nathaniel Marshall (Oak Park, Ill.), four-star Jaylen Williams (Palatine, Ill.) and four-star Bobby Kanka (Howell).

The commitment continued into a scorching June on the recruiting trail for Moore and company, who have landed eight commitments in the current senior class and nine overall in the last 20 days. Michigan now has 13 commits in its incoming class, is ranked 15th in the country and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

There is another trio of players under watch over the next few weeks, which includes four-star OL Hardy Watts (Brookline, Mass.), four-star TE Andrew Olesh (Center Valley, Pa.) and three-star WR Phillip. Wright (Destrehan, Louisiana).
