LSU is looking to add to its receiver class after losing the commitment of a five-star receiver Dakorien Moore in May, but that search will continue after one of its targets is committed elsewhere on Monday.
Cortez Millsa four-star receiver from Homestead, Florida, announced his commitment to Oklahoma on his first official day as a member of the SEC. Mills is ranked as the No. 88 player nationally and No. 12 receiver according to the 247Sports composite, and his decision isn’t exactly a surprise.
The Sooners received multiple predictions to place him before decision day. LSU was seen as a long shot here despite being a finalist.
Even with Mills off the board, LSU remains in contention for some of the top players at the position, including five-star Jacksonville, Fla. receiver Jaime Ffrench and Moore, who the Tigers continue to try to bring back into the fold.
