2025 four-star linebacker Christian Gass of Covington, Georgia, was offered by USC along with other top schools. That list of other schools includes Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Ole Miss, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia Tech.
Gass is ranked as the No. 264 prospect in the class of 2025, according to On3 Industry Rankings. Gass is ranked 243rd overall and 28th at his position, according to the 247Sports compound
During his junior campaign, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound linebacker totaled 68 tackles, 11 for loss and two sacks.
On3’s recruiting prediction machine gives Kentucky a 34.3% chance of signing him, followed by USC (22.7%), Auburn Tigers (13.2%) and Florida (11.0%). USC linebackers coach Matt Entz would love to see what he can do with a quality player from the state of Georgia. As you can clearly see, USC’s recent decommitments of Georgia-based players haven’t stopped Lincoln Riley and his staff from making inroads into the Peach State in search of defensive talent. USC continues to suffer fluctuations. In a year where the Atlanta Braves haven’t hit as well as they had hoped (which makes Angelenos happy, given that the Braves are the Los Angeles Dodgers’ main competitor in the National League), USC will look to plug directly into a few more efforts recruiting in Georgia.
