The Oregon Ducks have already landed two 5-star recruits in this 2025 class, and there seems to be a good chance they’ll sign at least one or two more before it’s all said and done, if not more.
We’ll know the fate of one of Oregon’s top targets in a matter of weeks, with 5-star CB DJ Pickett setting his commitment date for July 17th. He is among the final four of LSU, Georgia, Miami and Oregon, but both the Hurricanes and Ducks are expected to be ahead of the race.
Pickett is ranked as the No. 8 player in the 2025 class and the No. 3 cornerback. He was in Eugene several times last year and made an official visit to Oregon last month.
The Ducks currently have a top-10 recruiting class after adding 5-star CB Dorian Brew last weekend, and they could compete for the top class in the country with other key additions like Pickett.
Oregon is also trending and struggling to land 5-star S Trey McNutt, 5-star S Jonah Williams and 5-star WR Dakorien Moore.
