Other than the weeks leading up to National Signing Day in December, there is no busier time on the recruiting calendar than the month of June.
The Big 12 had 129 commitments in the month. Today, we’ll look at which programs won in June and which didn’t in the Class of 2025.

The Wildcats entered June with just two commitments, a surprisingly low amount before the busy month, and then Arizona fully loaded into your recruiting class in 30 days.
Four-star running back Wesley Yarbrough was under-recruited out of Texas and so he is a star in the making for the Wildcats. Crosby, Texas standout leads, but Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei offensive lineman Sione Tohi is a huge achievement – literally – and a three-star quarterback Robert McDaniel shone in the Elite 11.

The Mountaineers just have the final pieces to add to their recruiting class after a very active June, adding 14 players led by a productive running back Deandre Desinor and defensive attack Amir Leonard-Jean Charles.
Neil Brown and his team could have found some serious sleepers as well as a defensive end Romando Johnson is really talented and others can be great playmakers.

Houston entered the month of June with just four commitments, but then continued during that period with 11 commitments as a first-year coach Willie Fritz and his team was very busy putting together the recruiting class.
There were no four stars among the June commitments, but DE Sheldon RiceBD Jacob Bradford and OL Demetris Rector II They are all three stars.

After failing to secure commitments in May, Kansas had a strong performance in June, with double-digit prospects led by four-star offensive lineman Juliano Marcos from Olathe (Kan.) South Marks is talented enough to be a pillar of the Jayhawks’ offensive line for years to come.
Kansas also added at least three future defensive ends during the month of June, so it should be loaded for the future.

Kyle Whittingham and his staff does such a phenomenal job with evaluations and development, once players enter the system, the ratings do not accurately reflect what the Utes will look like in the years to come. AND Utah You thrive on doing things your way because it has worked for so long.
Still, June was a really productive month for the Utes, with 10 prospects led by four-star LB Christian Thatcher. W.R. JJ BuchananLB Ciro Polu it’s from Karson Kaufusi are three-star sleepers to watch.

Mike Gundy is going to recruit his way, and so loading up completely in June, which has become more than a trend for some college programs, may not be his way. However, the Cowboys were very successful during the month.
Four-star defensive end Michael Riles It was definitely the biggest gain for State of Oklahoma but R.B. DJ Dugar and ATH Foreman Kobi those were two big recruiting wins as well.

The Horned Frogs had a big month with nine commitments led by four-star OL Logan SchramW.R. Dane Jones and database Micah Strickland. This is a phenomenal achievement for TCU but the Horned Frogs were dealt a major blow on Wednesday when four-star quarterback Ty Hawkins moved from TCU to SMUlong rumored after four-star QB Keelon Russell went from Mustangs to Alabama.
TCU could now be looking for another quarterback in this class or the coaches could wait for the portal.

Just over half CincinnatiThe recruiting class was added in June as Scott Satterfield carried in style. Three-star linebacker Jahmari Deloatch it was the biggest win, as the Bearcats won many key recruiting battles in Ohio and Georgia, two of the best states for talent in the country.

Once again, coach Chris Kleiman It is Kansas State he’s going to recruit his way and it’s hard to argue with the results, as he’s coming off 19 wins over the last two seasons. Entering the month with just three prospects, K-State landed eight in June, all of them three-stars (just how Kansas State likes it).
Champagne is still being popped after elite tight end Linkon Healingwho was being chased by Oregon, Texas A&M and others, drafted out of Kansas State on July 1.

A four-star commitment Lamason Waller was definitely important — and somewhat unexpected a few weeks ago, as the Cougars weren’t mentioned much in their recruiting until recently.
This was a big victory for BYUhowever, and then also loaded the defensive end with promises of Kendal Wall, Cole Cogshell It is Ulavai Fetuli as it is almost guaranteed that one of these three will surpass their ranking in the coming years.

The Sun Devils loaded themselves with commitments early in the spring, so they had to be careful with how many they took on in June, although some key prospects were also added to the roster.

After winning 12 games in 2021, Baylor has won just nine games over the past two seasons and the Bears haven’t necessarily had a momentum-filled June, although there have been some wins on the recruiting trail.
Defensive backs Bo Onu it was the biggest commitment for sure and then Baylor got three-star DT Jackson Blackwell in recent days, with possibly more important appointments to come.

Iowa State we had a rather indefinite June, but Matt Campbell is slowly building this recruiting class with prospects they feel are a good fit for the system and who can make an impact on the way they do things in Ames.
RB Ryver Peppers is a three-star, but you can’t argue with his production of over 1,600 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns last season. Middleburg, Florida, defensive tackle Bernardo Carter It’s also a beautiful perspective.

After consecutive nine-win seasons under Gus Malzahnthe Knights fell to 6-7 last season and this recruiting class has been decidedly slow. UCF has just 11 commitments and is ranked 49th nationally, with just three commitments in June, although two were four-star.
St. Augustine, Florida, four-star WR Carlos Jenkins committed in recent days and UCF yielded four-star DB Rukeem Stroud in Wisconsin at the end of the month.

Under Dean Sanders, Colorado it will just do things differently. The transfer portal will definitely be the main focus of rebuilding the roster in Boulder, and therefore high school recruiting won’t be as big a focus.
The Buffaloes landed just two leads in June, one of them being four-star interior offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden.
Sanders and his team are still working on the biggest fish of all – five-star QB Julian Lewisthe number 1 player in the class.
