Former Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor is ProFootballFocus’ highest-rated player in the Big Ten since the channel’s inception.
With a grade of 96.2, the now-Indianapolis Colt landed just above former Michigan Wolverine running back Blake Corum, former Oregon offensive lineman Penei Sewell, former UCLA offensive lineman Laiatu Latu and former Michigan State offensive lineman Jack Conklin.
PFF’s college rankings systems date back to 2014, the same year as the first College Football Playoff.
During his three seasons in Madison, Taylor was a two-time Doak Walker Award winner, Walter Camp Player of the Year finalist, Maxwell Award semifinalist, Lombardi Award semifinalist and unanimous first-team All-America selection.
The New Jersey native also became the seventh player in FBS history to rush for 6,000 yards after leaving college and finished his career ranked second among the top ten players in rushing yards (6,174).
Like Colt, Taylor is looking to bounce back after rushing for 741 yards and seven scores in just 10 games of action in 2023. After a couple of injury-plagued seasons, he will look to replicate a 2021 season where he tallied 1,811 yards. , output of 18 touchdowns.
