For nearly two decades, Nick Saban has had no trouble getting into SEC Media Days. The old one Alabama Crimson Tide The head coach recently retired from coaching and is still getting to grips with what it’s like to not be an active, high-level head coach. Today, as the 2024 SEC Media Days began, Saban was denied entry due to not having his credential.
On ESPN, Saban explains what happened, saying that for 17 years he didn’t need a credential, so he didn’t think he needed one now. He had to go back to his room to get it so he could enter the event.

Saban will be there as an analyst, which means Alabama will be represented by new head coach Kalen DeBoer and a few players.
