It didn’t take long for a Alabama Crimson Tide player to respond to a recent comment former Alabama coach Nick Saban made at SEC media days. On Monday, Saban predicted that the Georgia Bulldogs It is Texas Longhorns would find themselves in the SEC Championship.
Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker would certainly respond to his former coach on Tuesday. Booker had this to say about Saban’s prediction:
“Well, something Coach Saban has taught us whenever we talk to the media is not to worry about external factors and he doesn’t work at the facility anymore, he works at the stadium, so it’s considered an external factor…”
Clearly, Booker’s intention was to attack Saban. In the past, Booker and other Crimson Tide players have used external factors to motivate the team internally. The idea that Saban made these comments in order to motivate the Alabama football team cannot be discounted.
