Alabama officially reveals plan to rename field after Nick Saban

On Friday, the news was made official. O Alabama Crimson Tide The football program will rename its field in honor of former head coach Nick Saban. Now, the venue where the Crimson Tide plays its home games will be known as Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

On September 7, the Crimson Tide will honor Saban by renaming the field in his honor. Alabama will host the South Florida Bulls in Tuscaloosa that weekend.

Saban is one of the best college football coaches of all time. During his tenure as head coach at Alabama, Saban finished with a 201-29 record and a 161-33 record in conference games.
